Spotlink was founded by Bill Mihigo, a Clarkson University engineer who spent the last decade ensuring reliability in high-stakes environments—from troubleshooting radar software and failure mode analysis to managing pipeline integrity for natural gas.

The drive to build Spotlink was sharpened during a family trip to the Texas State Fair. After a long day, Bill found himself trapped in a one-way traffic bottleneck for over an hour, looking at empty private driveways on the very street where the congestion was peaking. As a husband and father of three, he saw a family frustration; as an engineer, he saw a load-balancing failure.

Today, Bill applies that same "systems integrity" mindset to the parking industry. He is pouring his background in software and project management into building a community-driven network that provides breathing room for cities and reliable income for local families.
